7. ACTION ITEMS: Discussion and possible motion relative to:

A.

The Order authorizing Waste Management, Inc, to use proceeds of tax-exempt bonds to fund costs associated with improvements to solid waste disposal facilities in Guadalupe County.

B.

The Request for a Variance from the requirements of Section IX B2-Lot Restrictions, Section IX F7-Major Thoroughfare Plan-Road Classifications, and Section X C3 Minimum Right of Way in the Guadalupe County Subdivision Regulations for 1978 Pieper Road, Pieper Farms Lots 1 and 2, located in Precinct 2. 

C.

The agreement with Soch, Inc. to purchase Integra Election Management Software to provide a single management option for various critical election tasks.

D.

In accordance with the Guadalupe County Travel Policy, authorization for the following individuals to travel out-of-state:

1. Up to three (3) people from the County Clerk's office for educational training at the International Association of Government Officials (iGo) Annual Conference on June 20-24, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri; and
2. The Assistant Fire Marshal/Emergency Management Coordinator for the National Homeland Security Conference, August 24-28, 2025, in Washington, D.C.

E.

The Professional Design Additional Services Fee Proposal from Dockery Architecture for the Marion Building Renovation.

F.

The final plat of the Thompson Addition, establishing lot 1, located in Precinct 2. 

G.

The final plat of Molly & Mia's Place subdivision, establishing lots 1-2, Precinct 1.

H.

The request by the Guadalupe County Sheriff to temporarily substitute an increased total of eight (8) unfilled Patrol Deputy positions with up to eight (8) Un-Certified/Cadet positions and sponsor said persons' training costs with the AACOG Law Enforcement Academy.

Authorize the Jail's contracted Licensed Medical practitioner availability to a cellular phone for contact for emergency treatment.

The Memorandum of Understanding regarding Internet Crimes Against Children Task force activities between the Office of the Attorney General of Texas and Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office and authorize the Sheriff to sign the agreement.
